Society splits people up into several different categories based on all sorts of habits. Today, we are breaking down individuals based on their spending habits. All good and exciting in their own way, this infographic walks through ten different kinds of spenders. What kind of spender are you?
The Hipster Chick loves to Instagram as she or he shops. Every great bargain dress they see ends up on Twitter, and then in their closet of course. You will never catch a Hipster shopper with anything but a Mac. Contrary to the Hipster Chick is the Spendthrift. They are drawn to all things new and shiny and can justify any large purchase flawlessly. Price tags are an afterthought in the shopping process.
The Online Shopper is the individual taking full advantage of the Internet age and understands how to navigate all things technology. On the other hand, The Haggler will not pull out their wallet without a fight. Someone has to tell him this is not a third world super market.
The Group Buyer is why “deal” sites can stay in business. If 500 other people are purchasing it, the Group Buys is there. They have more massages and meal vouchers than they know what to do with. The Coupon Clipper is just this; they will not buy anything unless they have a piece of paper to scan at the checkout.
The Full Price Shopper goes for quality and justifies the price tag in just this way. Good brands last a long time and are worth the price in this shoppers eyes. The Dinosaur is our favourite grandpa of shoppers who buys everything the same way they did 45 years ago.
The Sticky Fingered Bandit loves free samples and “money back guarantees.” Just don’t leave your wallet laying around in their presence. The Passive Avoidance Shopper does not have time to play games and picks up the first thing on the shelf. Shopping is a task of life and nothing to be enjoyed or celebrated.
