Survey forecasts that a great link exists between the education level of an individual and the life expectancy of the individual. It is determined that college graduates are expected to live for more five years when compared to individuals who haven’t done with their high schooling.
Reports show that every additional four years of education reduces a wide range of health risks such as 2.2% of heart diseases, 1.3% diabetes, 12% smoking and 5% of overweight.
Education has great impact on the infant mortality rate and it is believed that high the education level of the mother, the chances of their infant survival is more. For every 1,000 live births, the child mortality rate in mothers with low education is nearly double in contrast to women with graduation degree.
The income gap among the individuals vary with the level of education and every additional year of education will increase the person’s earning by 11%. The life time earning of an employee working for a period of 40 years with graduate degree is $ 4.4 million and those individuals with bachelor’s degree have earned $ 2.1 million.
